Position SummaryAs a member of the interdisciplinary team, contributes professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients through the application of the nursing process.Contributes professional nursing knowledge and skills to provide specialized, trauma-informed medical forensic services to all individuals who present with complaint or concern of sexual assault. BSN completion will also allow you to advance in our clinical ladder program.Certification & Licensure RequirementsRegistered Professional Nurse (RN) License Illinois upon hire and Basic Life Support (BLS) (AHA) within 30 days and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (AHA) within 1 year and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within 3 years or Trauma Nurse Specialist (TNS) Certification within 3 years and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (AHA) within 1 year or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) Provider within 1 year and Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) Certification State of Illinois Sexual Assault Certification upon hire.Skills And KnowledgeWrites, reads, comprehends, and speaks fluent English.Basic computer knowledge using word processing, spreadsheet, email, and web browser.
