Job DescriptionCarlisle Companies Incorporated, a worldwide leading diversified manufacturer of premium building products and related technology has an has an exciting opportunity for a Group Regional Sales Manager to join our Carlisle Architectural Metals (CAM) Sales team in our Southern Region. The Group Manager, Regional Sales is responsible for driving sales growth across all five brands of Carlisle Architectural Metals—Metal Era, Hickman Edge Systems, Citadel Architectural Systems, Petersen, and Drexel—within a designated region of the United States. This role oversees Independent Sales Representatives (ISRs) and Territory Sales Representatives, ensuring that sales targets are met and exceeded. The Group Manager, Regional Sales will manage approximately $75-100 million in revenue, depending on the assigned region, and will report directly to the Vice President of Sales for One CAM.Duties And ResponsibilitiesSales Strategy Development:• Develop the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and growth strategy by brand, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.• Create brand-specific ISR/Territory Development Plans (TDP) and deploy them effectively within the region.Team Leadership• Supervise and mentor Independent Sales Reps and Territory Sales Reps to maximize their performance and sales potential.• Establish metrics to hold the team accountable to monthly sales goals, providing regular feedback and guidance.Training And Development• Execute training plans and track progress within the TDP, ensuring team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.• Conduct regular training sessions and performance evaluations to enhance team effectiveness.Sales Performance Management• Set clear sales goals and objectives for ISRs and Territory Sales Reps, monitoring progress and adjusting strategies as needed.• Review sales performance metrics and prepare regular forecasting reports for the VP of Sales.Customer Relationship Management• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders in the region.• Identify and address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.Team Management• Identify and recruit appropriate ISR representatives within the region to enhance sales coverage and performance.Financial Accountability• Take overall responsibility for the P&L of the region, ensuring effective cost management and revenue generation.Market Analysis• Monitor and analyze regional market conditions to identify potential challenges and opportunities.• Provide feedback on product performance and customer preferences to support product improvements and new offerings.Education And Experience• Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sales, or a related field.• Experience: Proven minimum of 10 years experience in sales management, managing teams and achieving revenue growth. Preferable experience in architectural or construction industry.Required Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesKnowledge: In-depth understanding of sales processes, market dynamics, and architectural metal products.Skills: Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in CRM, and Microsoft Office Suite.Abilities: Ability to analyze data and market trends to drive strategic decision-making; strong problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team. Adaptability to changing environments. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
