Location: KimbertonCarlisle Weatherproofing Technologies (CWT) is a leading supplier of building envelope solutions that effectively drive energy efficiency and sustainability in commercial and residential applications. We are looking for a Packaging & Graphic Designer to fill this position located remotely within the US.Job Summary :The packaging & graphic designer is responsible for creating, contributing to, and executing design concepts as well as maintaining visual appearance, usability and brand continuity across packaging, collateral, and other design elements. They are an idea generator, comfortable creating and presenting multiple concepts and ideas to the team and thinking outside the box.This job will be performed Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm with periodical times working beyond this structure to meet project deadlines or stakeholder meetings. This job will require up to 10% travel for the calendar year.Duties andResponsibilities :• Develop packaging design concepts using existing elements, or create new solutions that adhere to brand guidelines, and apply to packaging die lines.• Able to consider product placement within retail or distributors/dealers into design and design recommendations.• Create iconography, logos and informational graphics that convey the product’s features and benefits.• Create packaging mockups including: digital mock-up, paper prototyping, and die line prototyping.• Create and maintain marketing collateral, such as brochures, technical data sheets, and flyers, that cater to different audiences to support product and sales initiatives.• Print file production.• Assist with product photo shoots and photo shoots prep.• Develop presentation and meeting assets.• Responsible for item level schedule management• Maintain digital asset (DAM) library.• Apply deep understanding of illustration, construction, and iconography across all projects.• Work cross-functionally with internal creative team, agency partners, strategic marketing, product management, and merchants, throughout the production process.• Effectively present work to team members across levels and adapt designs based on feedback.• Expectation to understand, participate in, and support company COS initiatives, with focus on developing a lean mindset.• Other duties as assigned.Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:• Knowledge of packaging design principles, materials, and production processes• Self-starter with a high degree of integrity, including open and honest communication.• Strong attention to detail and organization• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing at a team levelWorking Conditions:• Office setting or dedicated workspace in a home office setting• Ability to high-speed internet connection to facilitate video calls, CRM management and other project related activities.RequirementsEducation and Experience:• Required:• BA/BS in Design, Graphic Arts, or related field• Two (2) to five (5) years of design experience• Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite - Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat• Self-starter with a high degree of integrity, including open and honest communication.• Experience working with style guides.• Experience working in a digital asset management (DAM) platform.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office / 365• Preferred:• Prior experience working in packaging design.• Experience with 3D software.• Experience working with packaging or design to the construction industry (builders, contractors, architects).• Experience working in Wrike, Workfront or other project management software.#J-18808-Ljbffr
