Job Duties/Responsibilities Please note that the duties for this position will be performed on-site and
in-person.
Carpenters perform journey-level carpentry work in the construction,
alteration, maintenance, installation, and repair of articles and structures
of wood, fiberboard, hardware, and related materials.
Some typical job duties include:
roofs, stairways, doors, windows, modular cabinets, and finish carpentry
components by using materials that include but are not limited to wood,
fiberboard, gypsum board, mineral tile, and metals

Minimum Requirements Education:
Graduation from high school or evidence of equivalent educational
proficiency.
Experience:
Successful completion of a recognized carpentry apprenticeship program
or five years of experience in carpentry work on buildings, one year of
which must have been at the journey level.
SPECIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
kneel, balance, push, pull and safely lift and carry items weighing up to
100 pounds
and other related equipment
Desirable Qualifications The ideal candidate will have completed a four year recognized
carpentry apprenticeship program and have worked as a journey-level
Carpenter.
Further, the ideal candidate will possess broad technical skills and
knowledge of the following:

In addition, the ideal candidate will possess the ability to:
blueprints
equipment
Employment Selection Process The employment assessment for these positions tentatively consists of a
Performance Test.
