Doorman (Temporary)

**Role Overview** Cartier North America is seeking a Doorman who will be responsible for greeting and attending to clients in the Historical Cartier New York Flagship boutique on 52nd Street, in order to ensure the highest level of client _experience_. The ideal candidate will be able to personify the Cartier spirit t_hr_ough a deep understanding and conveyance of brand values, culture, and image.• *Responsibilities**_Greeting and Attending to Clients_- Greeting and attending to clients.- Provide a consistently excellent client _experience_ by maintaining the highest degreeof courtesy and professionalism.- Open door as clients enter or leave.- Greet, assess needs and direct clients to appropriate department or representative.- Assist clients with belongings and packages.- Assist clients in and out of cars, and assist with transportation needs such as securingtaxis.- Thank clients as they leave._Operational Support_- Daily set up and break down of boutique for opening/closing.- Assist with Boutique projects as needed (inventory, organization, restocking ofsupplies, etc...).- Coordinate with boutique operations to maintain clean and accessible exteriorboutique premises and entrances**.**_Knowledge and Compliance_- Develop basic brand knowledge to convey Cartier heritage and values.- Understand and comply with Cartier security and operational procedures (i.e.product handling, inventory control, etc.)._Brand Ambassador_- Uphold Cartier image by maintaining professional demeanor at all times and be anambassador for the maison.• *Qualifications**_Education:_High school diploma or equivalent.Additional language skills (Mandarin, Portuguese, Russian) are a plus._Required experience:_- Previous _experience_ in luxury retail or hospitality is a plus (client facing)._Technical skills / abilities:_- Available to work weekends.- Basic computer Skills (tablets, PC).- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for _hour_s at a time to assist clients in and out of the boutique.- Regularly works in outdoor weather conditions._Personal skills_- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are _required_.- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail store environment.- Ability to project an approachable and professional image in personal appearance, manner, and demeanour.- _Strong_ understanding of client service needs and client priorities.Salary will be determined based on relevant skills and _experience_.\*This job description may not be inclusive of all assigned duties,responsibilities, or job aspects described and is subject to amendment asneeded at the sole discretion of the employer._Expected Salary Range: $23/HR - $26/HR__Please note, salaries will be negotiated based on relevant skills and experience._
