OCO Planner

Responsibilities
  • Draft or edit OPLANS, OPORDs, and FRAGOs, participate in Joint Planning Groups and Teams (OPG/OPT), develop, and integrate cyber capabilities into plans, support action officers with planning, and remain cognizant of missions and priorities.
  • Review drafts and provide advice and assistance to the Operational Planning Teams and Joint Planning Groups.
  • Review plans to identify expressed or implied missions and responsibilities.
  • Develop concepts of support, courses of action, integrate command and external capabilities, coordinate, and document comprehensive plans.


Requirements
  • Required Clearance: TS/SCI with counter intelligence polygraph
  • 8 years recent (since 2013) work experience as an Offensive Cyberspace Operations (OCO) planner. Waive 2 years of experience requirement for every year spent on a Combat Mission Team (CMT) in any work role. Waive 2 years of work experience requirement for every year spent in an OCO planner role within a Joint Force Headquarters – Cyber (JFHQ-C) command.
  • OR
  • 4 years recent (since 2013) work experience in offensive cyberspace capabilities development. Waive 2 years of experience requirement for every year spent on a Combat Mission Team (CMT) in any work role. Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent (i.e. Prince 2 certification. DAWIA Level III, etc.) or an additional 4 years recent (since 2013) experience in offensive cyberspace capabilities development.
  • OR
  • 4 years recent (since 2013) work experience as an Interactive On-Net Operator (ION), cyberspace Exploitation Analyst (EA), or equivalent.
