Business Intelligence (BI) Manager

Regular Full-Time

Position Overview

The BI Manager will be part of Cast & Crew’s Business Planning & Insights team and will report to the Director, Financial Planning & Analysis. The BI Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of organizational reporting and analytics as well as maintaining, supporting, and upgrading reports and dashboards. The BI Manager will establish processes leveraging data to drive informed decision-making and ensuring data integrity and accuracy. They will play a pivotal role in defining, building, and managing the company’s BI strategy. This role requires expertise in BI tools, data visualization, and a strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional leadership to deliver actionable insights. We are a nimble team, and you will need to be a self-starter that is detailed oriented.

Core Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of the organization's BI strategy, aligning it with business goals and objectives.
Create and manage comprehensive reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that provide stakeholders with timely, relevant, and accurate information.
Work closely with Engineering team to translate functional business requirements to technical requirements.
Oversee data analysis activities, including data mining, trend analysis, and predictive modeling, to extract actionable insights and support decision-making.
Establish and maintain data governance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data quality and consistency.

Key Qualifications

BA/BS degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field.
A mastery of BI concepts and tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms, with the ability to design and implement complex data visualizations. Tableau or Power BI preferred.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, present findings to executives, and drive a data-driven culture within the organization.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience in data modeling and metadata structure.
Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills in data and business processes.
Microsoft Office Suite proficiency with very high Excel expertise.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with data warehouses like Snowflake and working knowledge of SQL for querying and manipulating data.
Experience at a FinTech company.
Familiarity with data science and machine learning concepts
Understanding of data visualization best practices

Special Work Conditions

Sedentary – Involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Some positions may entail exerting up to 15 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force to lift, carry, push, or pull.

Compensation is commensurate with various factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, skills, training, licensure, certifications, geographic cost of labor, and other business and organizational needs. Compensation range for candidates in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.

The compensation range for this position is:

$135,000—$160,000 USD
