Manager, Revenue Operations

We are looking for someone who loves working in a fast paced, high growth SaaS environment, with a passion for data and optimizing processes and resources, so our sales and customer success team can meet the aggressive revenue and customer retention goals of the business. The person who will enjoy this role possesses the desire to set the proper course, execute the plan, and provide team leadership. This role requires the use of technology and tools to optimize and improve workflows as well as provide insights into current performance trends. Success at Cayuse means having a bias toward action, having exceptional communication skills, and knowing how to balance getting the details right while still moving fast.

 

Responsibilities

Data, Reporting & Analysis

  • This role will work closely with the VP of Sales to refine the cadence and content for company wide, executive and board reporting.
  • You will work closely with the sales leadership team, and other cross-functional leaders, to identify areas for improvements in reporting workflow and accuracy - it will continue to be an area of focus and impact for this growth stage company.  
  • Produce regular reports to assist with forecasting, pipeline, pricing, activity, and other trends to help the Cayuse leadership team make business decisions. 
  • Perform regular data analysis to monitor and drive increased productivity across the sales, marketing, and customer success organizations, and leverage this data to proactively identify areas for improvements.

Sales Technology & System Administration

  • Salesforce, Pardot, Lean Data and CRM system organization and hygiene - make sure that our data is accurate, up to date, easy to input and accessible.  
  • Train sales team members on optimal use of Salesforce (current and future releases), Salesloft and other current and future sales tools.
  • Provide a full assessment of our current sales tools and processes and recommend any requisite improvements. Execute these improvements and own implementation of new tools.

Order-to-Cash & Retention Processes

  • Collaborate with the finance team to standardize reporting, revenue tracking, accounts receivable, invoicing and billing systems. 
  • Partner with the Customer Success team to process, track, and calculate customer renewals in support of our retention and growth goals.
  • Promote an inclusive work environment by valuing employee differences and contributions, providing opportunities for employees to be heard, and ensuring decisions that affect the team are transparent and equitable.

Sales Support 

  • Manage Cayuse’s Deal Desk function to provide and process the necessary documentation to support the sales team throughout the sales process.



Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with sales reporting, sales technology administration, and RFP/Proposal management.
  • Knowledge of SaaS methodologies and SaaS business best practices.
  • Martech experience- Pardot, LeanData, Cognism, etc.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and drive initiatives cross-functionally.
  • A fluency in, and ability to maintain and enhance Salesforce functionality.
  • Expert knowledge of Salesforce workflows and developer experience is a strong plus.
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator is preferred.
  • Experience with InsightSquared or other sales intelligence platforms/tools (Domo, Adaptive Insights, Anaplan) is preferred.
  • Strong analytical data mindset and reports are your thing!
  • Troubleshoot reporting, analytics, and processes for sales functions such as bookings revenue goals, and the deals desk.
  • Excellent people management skills, including the ability to foster collaboration and inclusion, provide individualized support to employees, influence, negotiate and achieve results through direct reports and others
  • Superior written, verbal and MS Excel skills
