Senior Project Manager - IT InfrastructureJob ID179674Posted21-Aug-2024Service lineGWS SegmentRole typeFull-timeAreas of InterestConstruction, Data Centers, Project ManagementLocation(s)Remote - US - Remote - US - United States of AmericaAbout The RoleAs a Sr Project Manager with CBRE and assigned at Confidential Client, you will plan, direct, and coordinate activities within the IT Infrastructure Team to ensure goals and objectives are completed within prescribed time frames and funding parameters. You will direct, observe, document, and report on assigned technology projects. You will be monitoring project activities, ensuring quality and integrity in deliverables. You will direct multiple projects and be responsible for tracking and escalating issues promptly. Hands-on experience with IT infrastructure is not necessary but one must possess the ability to ask probing questions to sufficiently understand and direct the work of subject matter experts (SMEs).What You’ll Do• Develop a solid understanding of the Confidential Client organization and with the technology objectives.• Identify and schedule project work landmarks and required tasks• Assist with defining project objectives, scope, and level of effort• Implement project strategies and plans and identify the necessary approach and tools required for the effort• Raise project issues including timing, budget, resources, and scope to upper management in a timely manner• Collaborate closely with the internal technical team on current infrastructure projects• Prepare project status reports and/or program summaries for management, business unit leaders, and IT management• Adhere to best project management practices and methodologiesWhat You’ll Need• Bachelor’s degree in, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience is required• At least 10 years of experience, including managing large-scale IT, Data Center, Disaster Recovery, or Infrastructure projects• Experience in an IT infrastructure environment is mandatory, large-scale organizations is preferred• Proven ability to identify, integrate, and author key project artifacts (charter, RAID, project plan, etc.)• Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and drive project teams through competing priorities• Strong change management skills and ability to influence decision-makers• Conceptual knowledge of information technologies and methodologies• Knowledge of mixed Infrastructure environments• Strong project management skills which include experience in organizing, planning, and executing large-scale projects, involving internal personnel, contractors, and vendors• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.Preferred Skills and Background:• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent• Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certification or equivalent• Intermediate or advanced mastery of MS Office Suite (MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Visio, Teams)• Intermediate or advanced mastery of ServiceNowWhy CBRE?CBRE is the world's largest commercial real estate services and investment firm, and we have been ranked #1 on Fortune’s World’s Most Admired Company: (2019, 2020, 2021,2023). The minimum salary for this position is $100,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $120,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
