Title: Student Worker - Financial Aid & Business Office Salary Range: $14.00 per hour Contract Term Length: Not Applicable Standard Hours: 15 - 20 per week Work Location: On-Site FLSA Status: Non-Exempt College: Southcentral KY Community & Technical College Campus Location: Southcentral Kentucky CTC - Main Campus Department: Financial Aid & Business Office Job Summary Provide general clerical and customer service duties in support of SKYCTC’s Financial Aid and Business Office. This position is on the Main Campus, located at 1845 Loop Drive, Bowling Green, KY 42101.The job pays $14.00 an hour with a maximum of 20 hours per week.Anticipated employment is August 2024 - May 2025, subject to employment expectations, such as dependability, punctuality, and confidentiality.Job Duties:• Answers general billing and financial aid questions• Demonstrates SKYCTC’s Culture of Caring• Performs basic clerical duties• Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information• Other assigned dutiesMinimum Qualifications:• Submits a completed, current year FAFSA to SKYCTC• Is a U.S. citizen or an eligible non-citizen• Is credential-seeking in a SKYCTC program of study• Maintains a GPA of 2.0 or higher and makes Satisfactory Academic Progress• Maintains enrollment in 6 or more program-applicable credit hours• Has “unmet need” in the financial aid budget to allow for a federal work-study award• Consents to state and national pre-employment background checks, per Kentucky State LawPreferred Qualifications:• Ability to work with the public in a professional manner• Dependable, punctual, and courteous• Organized and attentive to detail• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills• Ability to work independently and as a team playerAdditional Skills Requested:
