DescriptionThe Revenue Cycle and Business Applications Project Manager drives operational process improvement and change management for revenue cycle optimization projects.Essential Functions:Manage inventory of IT tickets for RCM, including prioritization, obtaining clarification when needed, engaging with IT on timing and resolutionIdentify approaches to resolving issues UH is experiencing within EpicUse Epic dashboards and reporting to identify opportunities to enhance Epic to improve throughput and cash flowLead and optimize vendor integration work into Epic. Assist in ensuring optimization of technical tools within Epic and third parties (new or existing e.g. Curae, Cloudmed, etc.)Serve as the Revenue Cycle point person in IT/Revenue Cycle meetings (e.g.: Epic Top Revenue Priorities, HB and PB Areas of Focus)Work collaboratively with IT to prioritize fixes and improvement in Epic to related to Revenue Cycle functionsOrganize and run SWAT meetings (e.g. Payer rejections, PB/HB Cash SWAT, Denials, IVF, Client Billing, etc) where neededLead in projects related to other systems and vendors that support revenue cycle (e.g.: Waystar, 3M, JPM)Serve as the Revenue Cycle point person on new system projects that require an Epic build (e.g.: Rural Health, Home Infusion, Occ Health)Prepare presentations for Executive Meetings relating to Epic Revenue Cycle stabilization and optimizationOversee the LDM (Legacy Data Management) project for RCMAssist in presentations and planning around Revenue Cabinet related to technical tools to support CDI and charge captureWork with Rev Cycle Builders & IT on scope and responsibilities related to Epic BuildServe and develop as a SME in JPM RM & RME and support RCM and Accounting with needs related to reporting and toolsAdditional Responsibilities· Performs other duties as assigned.· Complies with all policies and standards.· For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation.· Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
