Safety Consultant18 Month ContractBachelors Degree RequiredJob at a Glance:As a member of the night time safety consultant team, this role supports field construction sites across hotels and other site refurbishments/upgrades. The Construction Safety Consultant serves as the key technical resource responsible for the implementation and sustainment of key safety programs within designated business units. Exceptional candidates will have a proven track record of independently driving above-average incident reduction results through targeted safety strategies and tactics.• Position: Construction Safety Consultant• Location: Onsite position, supporting field construction sites across hotels and other site refurbishments/upgrades• Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week / 9PM - 5AM• Contract Duration: September, 2024 - March, 2026Responsibilities:• Serve as the key technical resource for construction safety, implementing and sustaining safety programs across designated business units.• Manage safety concerns and issues on-site, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and regulations.• Conduct risk assessments, develop safety plans, and lead safety investigations and technical evaluations.• Oversee and manage relationships with third-party vendors, General Contractors, and other internal and external stakeholders.• Collaborate closely with Safety Services Cast Members to communicate safety best practices and address concerns effectively.• Maintain flexibility in your daily schedule to address changing priorities and ensure safety standards are met.• Perform physically demanding tasks, including standing and walking for 8+ hours, working in various weather conditions, wearing personal protective equipment, and climbing ladders and scaffolds.• Drive incident reduction through the implementation of targeted safety strategies and tactics.Must-Haves:• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and site construction safety management.• Experience managing third-party vendors and General Contractors.• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external parties.• Expertise in conducting risk assessments, developing safety plans, and leading safety investigations and technical reviews.• Ability to function independently with strong communication skills to keep leadership informed.• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.• Excellent time management skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.Preferred:• A proven track record of independently achieving above-average incident reduction through targeted safety strategies.About the Client: The client is a globally recognized leader in entertainment, hospitality, and leisure, committed to creating magical experiences for guests of all ages.
