Contractor-Visual Experience Designer (Remote)

Location: Remote- candidates local to Vienna, Virginia preferredJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $50 - 55 per hourWe are seeking a talented Visual Experience Designer to join our client's team on a 6-month contract. This role will involve working on high-impact projects that require innovative visual design solutions to complex product challenges. While remote work is an option, preference is for candidates who can be local to our client's HQ in Vienna, VA.Responsibilities:• Conceive visual design solutions for complex product initiatives, focusing on composition, typography, and interaction models.• Ensure that all deliverables are engaging, on-brand, and align with cross-channel project goals.• Develop and implement UX design projects with moderate to complex scopes, including creating project execution plans and deployment schedules.• Resolve complex design problems with creative and effective solutions.• Work independently with limited guidance on projects that have significant impact on the company’s goals.Qualifications:• Experience level: Experienced• Minimum 7 years of experience• Education: Bachelors (required)• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Agile methodologies.• Proficiency in applying user-centered design principles to create intuitive and effective designs.• Applicants must include a portfolio or work samples showcasing their visual and product design capabilities.• A minimum of three (3) real-world examples of direct Visual Design/Product Design work.
