Our client is hiring an Email Marketing Manager to join their high-growth consumer brand in the retail/e-commerce industry! This is a DIRECT-HIRE and 100% fully remote opportunity to help elevate our client's email & SMS marketing strategies for their customer base. Responsibilities:
- Create a comprehensive customer strategy that encompasses the entire customer lifecycle and journey, focusing on Email and SMS text channels while also considering other marketing channels as appropriate.
- Oversee the complete process for Email and SMS campaigns, which involves determining the messaging and content for all promotional campaigns, communicating creative requirements to designers, setting up campaigns in relevant platforms, managing proofing with stakeholders, and analyzing campaign performance.
- Formulate a segmentation strategy by utilizing Customer Data Platform (CDP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, and implement a dynamic messaging approach through personalization tools.
- Devise effective strategies to expand Email and SMS subscriber lists, as well as retain and engage existing subscribers.
- Supervise triggered and transactional messaging campaigns in Email and SMS, which are triggered by customer behaviors, purchases, and other relevant scenarios.
- Maintain relationships with crucial vendors and service providers involved in Email, SMS, CRM, and CDP operations.
- Collaborate with the Email service provider to ensure high deliverability and uphold reputation standards for achieving maximum inboxing rates.
- Work in conjunction with merchandising, creative, and other cross-functional teams to develop a marketing contact strategy that effectively engages customers with relevant offers and communications.
- Employ data-driven methodologies to measure behaviors and results, optimizing the marketing approach accordingly.
- Team up with digital teams to leverage marketing technology and capabilities for driving successful program outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Experience level: Manager
- Education: Bachelors (required)
- 5+ years related experience.
- Experience in Email & SMS marketing/loyalty/CRM required. Experience in creating and leveraging segmentation required.
- Experience with a customer data platform (CDP) strongly preferred.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with a diverse group at all levels.
