Supervisor, Quality Assurance & Audit

Position Purpose: Oversee the daily quality assurance and audit function for Marketplace enrollment and billing operations, ensuring consistency of processes, optimization of systems and achievement of metrics.
  • Research Affordable Care Act Marketplace rules and regulations to successfully align operations with legislative mandates
  • Provide recommendations for development or revision of policies, procedures, work flows or other documents to be used for training content and skill acquisition
  • Review and validate that departmental policies and procedures are documented, updated and in compliance with company and regulatory agency requirements
  • Manage the staffing, career development, training and coaching needs of the team
  • Collaborate with training department to provide training on improved processes
  • Design, develop, enhance and maintain quality assurance and audit programs to continually meet evolving business needs
  • Analyze trends, identify gaps, and make recommendations to improve quality within Marketplace enrollment and billing departments
  • Monitor, prepare and analyze daily and weekly reports of all volume and productivity

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience. 4+ years of quality assurance and/or audit experience, preferably in a commercial managed healthcare setting. Supervisor or lead experience working within a quality assurance or audit team is preferred. Strong computer skills, including MS Office with heavy emphasis on MS Access and Excel. Experience with quality assurance and auditing tools and methods. Familiarity of inter-dependencies within training and quality programs.

Pay Range: $68,700.00 - $123,700.00 per year

Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
