Work with system end users to determine application requirements.•Evaluate user requests for automation or upgrading of existing systems.•Apply knowledge of computer system capabilities to outline coding steps for programmers.•Coordinate with other systems engineers to ensure proper implementation of program and system specifications.•Convert project specifications into detailed algorithms for coding.•Develop documentation related to the development of computer programs.•Develop plans for automated data processing systems from project inception to conclusion.•Provide support for the installation, testing, implementation, and maintenance of hardware/software for application functions.•Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, or related discipline.•Minimum of 5-8 years' experience as a Data Developer.•Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) framework.•Ability to adapt to a non-traditional Agile Software Development model.•Understanding of Configuration Management principles and practices.•Proficiency in computer languages and strong technical knowledge in application development.•Ability to analyze customer needs and develop new applications to meet those needs.•Thought leadership and creativity in problem-solving and developing innovative applications.•Attention to detail in planning and developing application components.•Strong problem-solving skills to make decisions that move the project forward.•Ability to work effectively in a customer/contractor teaming environment.•ETL processes utilizing Linux shell scripting, Perl, Python, and Apache Airflow.•Experience in supporting, maintaining, and migrating JavaFX applications to modern cloud-native solutions.•Active Top-Secret clearance.Please note that due to the nature of this government contract, US Citizenship is required.CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
