OUTSTANDING COMPANY! Always looking out for Employees!

Pros

MULTIPLE programs to support and take care of employees. They are NOT all about the bottom line/dollar, but about taking care of their people FIRST in order to make sure the job gets done! For example, they offer a PTO Donation Bank for Disabled Vets, extra time off that you can use when your injuries act up!

Cons

Nothing beyond the usual amount of paperwork in order to fulfill obligations and tracking of products/jobs.

We are enhancing our recruiting practices to ensure a more diverse candidate pool and expanding partnerships with minority-focused professional organizations. And to increase minority representation in our leadership ranks, we will require interviews of qualified minority candidates for all leadership roles at the director level and above.

In addition, we are making significant financial investments and taking concrete actions to address this critical issue. We have implemented a company-wide unconscious bias awareness program to educate leaders and employees on micro-aggression and discrimination in the workplace. We are also providing leaders with the resources to have courageous and supportive conversations with their employees.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

Not only do we strive to create a diverse workplace that reflects the communities we serve, we also endeavor to leverage diverse partnerships to ensure excellent service delivery, supported by effective leadership and engagement.

"Advancing diversity, equity and inclusion is not just the ‘right thing to do’ at SAIC – it is a critical driver of success and better business outcomes for our organization. We have committed to being a positive force for equality and justice in our nation and pledged to drive meaningful change through our four pillars of commitment. These commitments inform our efforts and serve as the basis upon which we hold ourselves accountable."
