Position Description:

CGI has an immediate need for an QA Testing Analyst (Automation) to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest leaders in the secondary mortgage industry. We take an innovative approach to supporting our client, working side-by-side in an agile environment using emerging technologies.

This position is located at a client site in Reston, VA. A hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

QA Testing Analyst acts as a key participant in application analysis, test strategy development, test case creation, test script development, test execution, defect tracking and reporting. The candidate may also be required to train end users.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

7+ Expertise in testing Web, SOA/WS, DW/ETL, JAVA backend applications.
Proficiency in Agile and Waterfall software development models.
Expertise in testing methodologies and process.
Expertise in project management tools: HP ALM, Rally, JIRA.
Strong SQL skills in Oracle. Strong Unix and Windows skills.
Experience in applying test automation.
Experience in applying ATDD/BDD, Gherkin.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills.
Experience leading projects.


Education:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering or related field.

Post-graduate degree desired 5-10 years related work experience

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $59,000.0 - $130,600.00
