Job Description

Summary
The Change Manager position will focus on the people side of change with subject matter expertise supported by educational background in the areas of change management, communication, training, and human behavior.
Position Responsibilities
  • Work with business leaders to understand specific challenges and develop/implement changes for the program
  • Measure and track change impacts at a program level with the aim of understanding change saturation across the business
  • Assist stakeholders and project teams to determine the impact of a change, both in predictive and retrospective view, including conducting impact analysis, change readiness and user resistance plans
  • Engage executive leaders to plan for active and visible sponsorship; prepare individual leaders to lead the change by promoting change management best practices
  • Provide direct support and coaching to executives, managers and staff where need to support adoption
  • Identify a list of key stakeholders, their goals and expectations, levels of commitment, and ability to influence the change process
  • Help to define and evolve change management methodology and principles, evaluating and ensuring organizational readiness for change and consistent change management strategy within the Delivery Transformation program
  • Establish and lead change networks to create broad business engagement
  • Create data led engagement and adoption strategies
  • Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities across the program, while remaining responsive to shifting demand ambiguity
  • Conducting user feedback surveys, focus groups and facilitating retrospectives
  • Designing and developing collateral, such as communications, presentations, talking points, FAQs, Training material, job aid, etc.
  • Build out change management toolkit inclusive of templates
  • Partner with the Project Manager, integrate change management activities into project plans, aligning on logistical support, planned releases and operational readiness
  • Partner with the executive leaders and marketing to articulate the Delivery Transformation initiatives
  • Partner with the subject matter experts and/or consultants to develop a training strategy and support the design and delivery of training programs
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 8+ years’ experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools
  • Solid understanding of how people go through change and change processes
  • Support teammates to maintain productive, energetic, and dynamic team environment
  • Provide and receive feedback appropriately, to maximize success in achieving desired outcome
  • Experience with communication channels
  • Excellent writer and content creation skills
  • Skilled in creating surveys
  • Skilled in creating job aids and training content
  • Analytical thinking and creative solutioning skills
Experience
  • 8 years of relevant change management experience
Other Qualifications & Desired Competencies
  • Advanced Degree a plus
  • Experience in Aerospace and Defense industries in a plus
  • Ability to Inspires, motivates, and empowers people to deliver organizational goals, while also delivering value back to employees
  • Champions the process of change and promotes a culture of quick adaptation while helping others deal with the effects of change
Physical Demands
  • Ability to work global and cross cultural
  • Required to sit and stand for long periods; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard (Constant).
Special Requirements
  • U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) required, per ITAR definition
  • Occasionally may be required to travel within the Continental U.S or international.
The salary range for this role is:
$106,798 - $160,198

This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”). Some positions will require current U.S. Citizenship due to contract requirements.
