Reporting directly to the Chaplain Services Department Manager, the chaplain will offer emotional and spiritual support to patients, families, and staff. The chaplain will perform spiritual assessments of patient visits and chart patient visits professionally and appropriately.

X Graduate of an approved program in Theology or Divinity or comparable theological degree X Required

X Minimum of two (2) units of clinical pastoral education (CPE) X Preferred
Required Skills
Ability to be open and sensitive to cultural and religious diversity.
Ability to relate to medical and other patient care staff, as well as religious leaders in the community.
Ability to offer emotional and spiritual support to patients, families, and staff members in a high level of stressful and emotionally charged situations.
Must be available for participation in the on-call rotation on a regular basis, as determined by department needs.
