Chargeback Analyst

We are looking for a commercially focused individual who will be based in San Francisco. You will be in a highly customer and partner-facing role, where your main focus will be to provide accurate and timely advice on complex chargeback related questions.

Day-to-day you will be also monitoring and educating our merchants and will have a direct impact on their ability to defend their disputes and to increase their performance.

You will guide and improve internal and external knowledge on dispute management. In order to do this, you will be collaborating with multiple teams, such as Operations, Risk, Acquiring, Account Management and Product Development.

What you'll do

  • Be a subject matter expert of the North America region and provide support to internal and external partners regarding complex chargeback related questions
  • Consult clients on Dispute Defense performance and optimisation leveraging data driven insights
  • Collaborate internally with Risk, Support and Product Development teams to improve customer experience and dispute products
  • Handle the North America Region related operational chargeback processes and tasks on a daily basis
  • Take ownership of creating merchants facing educational materials
  • Inform our partners accordingly of the dispute related updates and changes
  • Some domestic and international travel is required.

Who you are

  • You have strong communication and strong problem-solving capabilities
  • You can make quick informed decisions and prioritize requests for both internal and external stakeholders
  • You enjoy presenting your analysis with internal and external partners
  • You have already experience in disputes management or customer support 1-3 years (plus)
  • You are comfortable with writing internal or external documentation (plus)
  • You have the ability to interact with users clearly and empathetically
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills in English

The annual base salary range for this role is $95,000-$110,000; to learn more about our compensation philosophy, please click here.
