JOB HIGHLIGHT
You’ll create compelling video content that drives traffic, increases brand awareness, inspires generosity, and brings our mission to life. You’ll be part of a creative team that adheres to authenticity, innovation, and compassion.
Job Summary
As a Video Editor, you’ll work within the Marketing & Growth team to create video assets for web, email, SMS, and paid media. Your work will connect people to our mission and help bring clean water to communities around the world. You’ll report to our Filmmaker as part of the charity: water Brand & Content Team and work collaboratively with designers and copywriters.
YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR…
• Working closely with internal stakeholders to create unique and thoughtful video content for all marketing efforts and audience segments
• Brainstorming creative video solutions to match the organization’s needs and support the goals of our Marketing & Growth team
• Creating video content for social media platforms
• Helping to define processes to effectively deliver quality video in a fast-paced environment
• Using insights about charity: water audiences to modify what types of video stories we tell
• Collaborating and coordinating with the wider video team
• The creation, storage, and organization of video content and backup files
• Continuing to evolve the charity: water voice and tone, while still representing the organization’s values
YOU MUST HAVE…
• Bachelor’s degree in related field or similar experience
• 3-4 years editing experience
• Experience operating professional video equipment, sound equipment, and lights
• Knowledge of Adobe Premiere and the Creative Suite
• A current reel and/or website clearly indicating your role in the project
• Knowledge of all stages of production and post-delivery methods
• Ability to take creative direction and work independently to bring the vision and story to life
• Love for organization and ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
• Incredible attention to detail and ability to multitask
IT’S AN ADDED PLUS IF YOU HAVE…
• Experience with sound design, color correction/grading, and/or animation
• Ability to travel both domestically and internationally

They’re responsible for gathering inspiring content and crafting one-of-a-kind stories from the countries we serve.
