Senior Front End Engineer
Salary range - $140- $200K base plus bonus and equity
JOB MISSION
We are looking for a front end engineer to help build world-class people software that delights our customers.
You’ll be joining a small but mighty team to help drive the mission and technical direction of ChartHop. Our tech stack leverages TypeScript and React on the front end, Kotlin and MongoDB on the back end, and AWS for infrastructure.
As a Senior Front End Engineer, you will:
Develop, maintain, and incrementally improve our web application
Participate in the full development lifecycle, from ideation and planning to deployment and post-launch maintenance
Implement and maintain front-end tests, conduct code reviews, and follow best practices for code quality and maintainability
Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing clear updates on progress, issues encountered, and solutions

Feature Delivery: Proportion of features delivered on time and within scope

Skills and Experiences We Value:
Proficiency in front-end software development with a focus on TypeScript and React
General understanding of back-end software development and a willingness to learn more
Understanding of key web design considerations such as usability and accessibility
Ability to leverage customer input to create functional, user-friendly web interfaces
Thoughtful and detail-oriented
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Advanced problem-solving skills
Observant and able to remain focused on tasks for long periods of time
