Our Opportunity:Chewy is growing and evolving the Employee Relations Center of Excellence (ER COE) Team! As a Sr Employee Relations (ER) Manager, you will provide specific expertise in the areas of employee relations for one of the fastest growing, and most dynamic companies in e-commerce today. In partnership with our Legal and HRBP teams, you will drive the principles and processes required to navigate complex and sensitive team member issues, conduct thorough investigations, and provide sound guidance in pursuit of the best outcomes that mitigate legal and cultural risks. You must have a deep expertise in employee relations and high-risk, highly complex workplace investigations; demonstrate high judgement, integrity and exceptional interpersonal communication skills; and the ability to thrive in diverse and fast-paced environments.What You'll Do:Conduct and document thorough investigations involving high-risk, highly complex and sensitive team member concerns with potential legal, financial and cultural risks and provide guidance regarding courses of action based on objective investigation findings.Provide critical input to influence and advance the skillful management of a wide range of employee relations issues across the organization.Provide trend data and actionable feedback to Legal, HRBP teams, and senior leaders to reduce overall risk in the organization.What You'll Need:Degree in Business, Human Resources, Employee Relations; Juris Doctor preferred.8years of progressive experience in workplace investigations and employee and labor relations.Thorough knowledge of federal and state employment laws, regulations and proven methodologies for conducting and documenting workplace investigations.Proficiency with HR Systems (Workday, Oracle, etc.) and case management software (Ethicspoint, HR Acuity, etc.).Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.Highly-developed problem-solving skills and business acumen.Ability to effectively communicate with team members from diverse backgrounds and with different styles of communication.Proven ability to assess, mitigate, prevent and prioritize employee-related risks and liabilities.Position may require travel.Chewy is committed to equal opportunity.
