5W is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to oversee the company’s day-to-day operating activities and departments, including finance, human resources, office services, marketing, and business development.
You will work alongside our executive team to develop a long-term vision for the function, ensuring all current and future operational needs are met.
In addition to leading all teams, you will work on frameworks for critical operational initiatives within the agency. You will be a thought partner to other executive team members, providing a strategic perspective on operational issues related to their KPIs and initiatives.
This role requires a strong finance and business acumen, and will be able to make sound judgments and create business strategies which lead to better business success.

Manage the day-to-day operations of the agency, understanding every function within the organization.

Oversee company operations and employee productivity, building a highly inclusive culture ensuring team members thrive and organizational outcomes are met.

Establish and deploy KPI's for the business assuring that internal and external processes are established to met.

Engage the organization in managing client relationships, revenue, and profit.

Focus on revenue and sales growth, cost and margin control, and monthly, quarterly, and annual financial goal management.

Direct company operations to meet budget and other financial goals.

Drive each department to work together for optimum client experience.

Support leaders in their role at the agency; become the daily point of contact for group leads

Act as an agent of change, helping to translate strategy into actionable goals for organizational performance and growth.

Propose best path forward to promote growth and profitability.

At least 15 years of experience, with 5 in an executive level position, such as C-level, General Manager, or Vice President.

Strong background in operations management, change management, and a successful track record in mentoring other leaders in these areas.

Excellent interpersonal, communications, public speaking, and presentation skills.

Solid working knowledge of budgeting, sales, business development and strategic planning.

Experience must be within the Public Relations or Communications industry.

Ability to generate respect and trust from staff and external constituencies.
