About the Role:

The Programming & Partnerships Manager is a highly organized and motivated role that will support the Programming and Partnerships team at Chief. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless coordination and execution of speaker engagements, event communications, and partnerships that bring our world-class events to life.

Chief delivers cutting-edge content that addresses the most pressing challenges of modern leadership while spotlighting the transformative opportunities that lie ahead.

Reporting into the Senior Director of Events, Programming & Partnerships, this role will be a key contributor and provides essential support across programming and partnerships, helping to deliver impactful and engaging experiences for Chief’s community.

What You’ll Do:  

  • Oversee speaker’s experience from outreach, contract negotiation, preparation, satisfaction, and overall partnership.

  • Develop and enforce project timelines, ensuring alignment with all marketing and event deadlines for speaker promotion, briefs, and creative asset delivery.

  • Work with our marketing lead to oversee event communications. Giving guidance to frame event topics and to attract attendance and support sales goals.

  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, working closely with events managers, producers, and speaker teams to deliver seamless execution of all programming.

  • Support partnerships with updated sponsorship collateral: pitch decks, recaps & pipeline.

  • Work with Chief brand partners to ideate on their organization’s executives fit for Chief speaking opportunities. 

  • Collaborate with the community team to identify and elevate member speakers and moderators who align with Chief’s mission and programming goals

  • Oversee operational efficiencies, ensuring the database and master calendars are consistently accurate and up to date.

  • Provide on-site leadership at select events across the country, offering hands-on support for programming, partnerships, and speaker engagements, while driving real-time issue resolution.

  • Research and develop questions for interviews and panels both in-person and virtual.

What You’ve Done and Enjoy Doing:

  • Experience in programming with a high-achieving and/or executive population

  • A strong network leveraging innovative channels to source compelling speakers

  • Willing to work flexible hours including early mornings and late evenings due to the variable events schedule 

  • Curious, with a pulse on culture, brands, and trends in events, you are no stranger to deep research spirals on Wikipedia, YouTube, podcasts, blogs, and more. 

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, with strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask

  • Self-motivated, strategic creative worker with a drive, always looking beyond the available options when up against roadblocks

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite Products is a must

  • Knowledge of Zoom, Airtable, Slack, Salesforce, and Notion are a plus

The base salary for this role is: $110,000
