You will work closely with our policy and communications teams to develop and implement strategies that support our advocacy efforts and promote awareness of our organization.To be successful in this position, you should have a deep understanding of policy and communications principles, strong project management skills, and the ability to collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders. If you are a driven, creative, and dedicated individual who is ready to make a positive impact, we encourage you to apply for this position at CHOP.Develop and implement policy and communication strategies that align with CHOP's mission and goals.Conduct research and analysis on relevant policy issues and communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders.Collaborate with the policy and communications teams to create compelling messaging and content that promotes CHOP's mission and initiatives.Manage projects and initiatives related to policy and communications, ensuring timely and effective completion.Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, community organizations, and media outlets.Monitor and track policy developments, legislative actions, and media coverage related to CHOP's areas of focus.Assist in the planning and execution of advocacy events and initiatives, including drafting materials, coordinating logistics, and managing volunteers.Serve as a spokesperson for CHOP on policy and communications matters, representing the organization in a professional and knowledgeable manner.Collaborate with internal departments to ensure consistency and alignment with CHOP's brand and messaging.Keep up-to-date on best practices and trends in policy and communications, and make recommendations for improvement and innovation within the organization.Participate in the development and management of the policy and communications budget.Act as a liaison between CHOP and external organizations, advocating for CHOP's interests and promoting partnerships and collaborations.Prepare reports and presentations on policy and communications efforts, as requested by management.Adhere to all ethical and legal standards related to policy and communications work, including confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations and laws.Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
