Part-time Cleaning Professional - Philadelphia, PA

CIC is looking for a trustworthy and conscientious individual to perform cleaning and organizing duties of the kitchen areas and event spaces at CIC Philadelphia. The position requires approximately 25 hours per week. Each weekday shift is from 7:00 am to 12:30 pm or 12:30 pm to 6:00 pm (there is no weekend work). Starting wage is $16 per hour.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WORK

• Thorough cleaning of all public areas including conference rooms and kitchens: surfaces and appliances, including floors, chairs, counters and underneath countertop appliances.

• Periodic cleaning of event spaces to include tables, chairs, floors, trash and recycling.

• Keeping inventory of cleaning supplies and requesting more supplies as necessary.

• Assessing and performing regular cleaning needs such as cleaning interiors of freezers, refrigerators, drawers, and cabinets.

• Performing semi-regular special cleanings at request (office glass and windows, vacuuming).

• Running dishwashers and putting away clean dishware and utensils on a nightly basis. 

• Upkeep of coffee and water machines as appropriate.

• Refilling of kitchen dish soap/hand soap/lotion dispensers.

• Providing client-specific kitchen tasks as requested.

• Performing all tasks in compliance with CIC policies and procedures. 

• Maintaining communication with supervisor and operations teams.
