Engineering Lead Analyst -Vice President - TAMPA

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Intelligence Officer to join our Quality Engineering (QE) team, where they will play a vital role in measuring and tracking the progress of projects through data-driven insights. This individual will design and implement robust data collection, analysis, and reporting processes to quantify the maturity and performance of quality engineering initiatives across the organization. 

Support effective reporting and documentation.

In particular:

• Build dashboards and reports to track QE metrics (requires coding experience).
• Integrate and optimize data sources for actionable insights.
• Collaborate with teams to define/monitor QE KPIs.
• Develop and manage a centralized QE documentation portal in Confluence/SharePoint.

Data Collection and Integration: 

• Design and implement data pipelines that collect relevant project data from various tools and systems using REST APIs and similar methods. 
• Establish data collection frameworks aligned with quality engineering maturity models and DORA metrics. 

Data Analysis and Signal Detection: 

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and signals that indicate project progress and maturity. 
• Ability to pivot data each sprint, month and year over year for each project 
• Develop metrics and KPIs that effectively measure quality improvements and maturity advancements. 

Reporting and Visualization: 

• Create comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visualizations tailored to different audiences, including detailed technical insights and high-level executive summaries. 
• Proficiency in Confluence or related tools 
• Provide regular updates on project progress, maturity, and key metrics, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. 

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: 

• Partner with quality engineers, program managers, and other stakeholders to identify data requirements and ensure meaningful measurements. 
• Support cross-functional initiatives by providing timely and relevant data insights. 

Continuous Improvement: 

• Evaluate the effectiveness of metrics and reports, refining processes to improve data quality and relevance. 
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging practices in business intelligence and quality engineering metrics. 

Develop and manage a centralized QE documentation portal in Confluence/SharePoint. 

Requirements

• 9  plus years of relevant experience in an Engineering role
• 6 to 8 plus years of experience in a complex global company environment as a business intelligent subject manager expert ideally with some DevOps in their background.
• A strong background in working with REST APIs, quality engineering maturity models, and DORA metrics is required.
• Strong experience synthesizing large datasets, identifying meaningful trends and signals, and delivering reports tailored to both technical and executive audiences.
