Lead Core Engineering UI - Angular- (Hybrid)

Enterprise Risk Technology (ERT) within Functions Technology (FT) provides solutions and support to Senior risk management team who manages firm-wide enterprise Risk & control across multiple risk categories. This role is a senior level position as the Engineering UI lead within Enterprise risk management technology. This role will lead a global team of UI/UX engineers and collaborate with Architects in building enterprise solutions/Portal with robust design, design patterns and architecture that are innovative, consistent with firm standards and best practices. This role needs to collaborate with central UX team, ERM Product manager/owners and business stakeholders who manage I/UX research, mockups, business requirements, program scope and other deliverables. Candidate for this position is expected to have in-depth hands-on experience in enterprise application development in building web applications using advanced Angular JS, React tools. Candidate must possess strong written and verbal communications skills as well as strong organizational skills.Responsibilities:• In-depth technology experience in executing enterprise level projects and be able to leverage innovation in design, development and deliver robust solution through collaboration, socialization of ideas and capture peoples thought process• Drive the design and development of solution with close collaboration from solution architecture, key business stakeholders, and enhance the quality of deliverables. Ensure adherence to policy and procedures throughout SDLC (Agile practice)• Meet with stakeholders, program sponsors, and First & Second line of defense (LODs) to define end-to-end business process, define high level scope and roadmap, and other operational requirements• Manage/develop multiple teams of professionals to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for team (e.g., performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions) as well as ensure team adheres to best practices and process.• Create and maintain long-term strategy to achieve business and regulatory objectives in a systematic, well-designed, and timely manner• Prepare and present program/projects updates with risks & issues and potential remediation plan to senior management and business leaders• Work closely with key technology SMEs to address business architecture requirements.• Provide conceptual analyses for a variety of broad and complex issues• Manage all products from design to implementation and ongoing performance according to business requirements• Ensure all technology standards are developed, understood and adhered to operationally around the globe• Ensure that Citi makes appropriate strategic choices in onboarding, managing and exiting of vendors from the product portfolio• Manage a department of multiple teams from various technology disciplines, overseeing planning, performance management/counseling, pay decisions and other personnel actions• Provides an environment where Subject Matter Experts can prosper and deliver effectively• Oversee the technology budget and manage the budget and forecasts to ensure relevant targets are met• Utilize in-depth knowledge of how technology integrates within Citi and of direct competitors products and services• Make evaluative judgments based on analyzing information in complicated or unique situations, utilizing multiple sources of informationQualifications:• Minimum of 10+ years of UI development experience• 5+ years’ experience with leading cross functional Angular teams• In-depth knowledge of Application design and programming• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects.• In-depth knowledge and understanding of Java script and its design patterns.• In-depth knowledge of Angular core features, Micro front ends.• Experience in performance enhancement• Good to have exposure to NX.• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development• Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communicationEducation:• Bachelor’s degree/University degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience• Master’s degree preferred------------------------------------------------------Job Family Group:Technology------------------------------------------------------Job Family:Applications Development------------------------------------------------------Time Type:Full time------------------------------------------------------Primary Location:Irving Texas United States------------------------------------------------------Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:$156,160.00 - $234,240.00In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
