We are actively seeking a Client Service Manager to join our talented team in our Albany, NY office.
Salary Range: $55,000 – $95,000, commensurate with experience.
Hours: Full Time, Monday – Friday, 40 hours/week
Location: Albany, NY. This position is not a remote/hybrid position. 100% on site!
Benefits: Company offers career growth opportunities and a competitive compensation package that includes PTO, Health, Dental, Vision, 401(k), HSA, Disability, and Life InsuranceThe Client Service Manager will utilize companies' proprietary asset-liability management (ALM) system and manage daily business protocols to effect timely, accurate and tax-efficient trading.The successful candidate will serve as the day-to-day point of contact for our clients on nonqualified benefit programs and associated funding strategies, which may include corporate-owned life insurance (COLI) or mutual funds. They will also coordinate and collaborate with companies' senior relationship, consultanting and investment teams, our trustees and custodians, and our non-qualified plan recordkeepers and related platforms to help ensure an optimal service experience for our clients.Responsibilities:• Daily/monthly monitoring of assigned client asset management strategy• Submission of trades as necessary tools to rebalance client asset portfolio• Oversight of client reporting packages, including delivery• Preparation of client account for asset liability management platform• Development of new and ongoing relationships with trust partners, insurance carriers, and record-keepers• Processing and monitoring of life insurance death claims• Management of client relationships by communicating expectations, procedures, and timing standards• Understand and convey the general functions and procedures to clients• Process plan transactions on the recordkeeping system, including client record updates, adjustments on postings of transactions while ensuring compliance with established quality standards• Liaison with plan sponsors and custodians to help resolve issues with custodial accounts on behalf of plan sponsors• Managing quality control and accuracy of plan reports• Collaborate with various levels of management on escalated or key account issues• Performing all other duties as neededRequired Skills and Qualifications:• Series 6 or 7 Registered Representative designation or higher (or willingness to obtain such designation within 3 months from date of hire)• Highly professional, organized and growth-oriented• Strong interpersonal, client services and communication skills• Highly computer literate with in-depth knowledge of MS office products, with emphasis on Excel• Team player who can work collaboratively on projects as well as independently with minimal supervision• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines• A penchant for detail and accuracyPreferred Skills and Qualifications:• 3+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or financial services industry• Experience with trading/trading processes• Familiarity of nonqualified deferred compensation plans, corporate-owned life insurance, qualified retirement benefit plans, retail life insurance, or client/account management a plus
