About this Position
Claims Adjuster investigates and evaluates Waiver of Premium claims.
Fully remote candidates will be considered. Must live in the United States.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
DUTIES
Reviews coverage eligibility and policy status and requests necessary proof of loss documents
Reviews and evaluates claim proofs and medical records when necessary
Determines benefit eligibility and recommends claims for payment or denial
Reviews and handles a caseload of Incontestable and Contestable claims
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Bachelor’s Degree or Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Disability Claims Adjuster
Excellent interpersonal and team building skills
Excellent verbal and written communication and letter writing skills
Excellent judgment, research and organizational skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and handle high volumes
Good computer skills
Must be detailed oriented, work well independently and with others
