Claims Processor(Life Insurance)

- Execute med - high complexity transactions within prescribed guidelines and timelines.

- Verify documents

- Analyze claim data

- Interact with customers and clients

- Process claim payments

- Meet quality standards

- Follow standard operating procedures for various Life and Annuity clients

Day to Day responsibilities:

- Gathering documents from clients.

- Clarifying and auditing information on the forms.

- Researching any information that is not matching up.

- Calling funeral homes to request death certificates, calling insurance companies to track down information, etc.

- Phone work is about 5% of the job.

Qualifications

- 2+ years of claims experience, preferable in life insurance and disability.

- Bachelors preferred, but not a requirement.

- LOMA preferred, but no licenses are required.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.27 - $22.01 per hour
