Scrum Master (MDaas)

Description: 

• Facilitate the team: maintaining sprint schedule, ensuring what needs to be scheduled is and following through until blockers are resolved
• Translate the technical: be able to represent the MDaaS work, contribute to technical conversation, identify blockers and help the cross-functional team break things down into manageable pieces
• Measure/Track the performance: work with the MDaaS team to define measurements that matter to not only track performance but also communicate meaningful outcomes that the MDaaS team has been able to achieve.

• Facilitates and supports all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint
• Guides and coaches the MDaaS Team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to our customers.
• Works closely with the Delivery Manager to define and track metrics that will accurately measure team performance in driving positive outcomes for customers
• Communicates effectively, both internally facilitating for meaningful participation and effectiveness to meet meeting objectives and externally sharing the MDaaS Team’s work in an easily understandable way
• Works with MDaaS Team to influence and drive decision making and support organizational project or product teams
• Identifies, tracks and supports resolution of team impediments to increase the effectiveness of the MDaaS Team
• Able to represent MDaaS Team interests during strategic brainstorming at the organization level, if necessary
• Builds and maintains regular reporting to communicate the MDaaS Team’s activities and how their performance impacts the organization and customers
• Contributes to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization

• Bachelor's degree in Management, Computer Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of product development experience
• Proficiency in CI/CD Pipelines & Infrastructure development
• Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings at multiple levels of an organization and an understanding of facilitation techniques
• Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including but not limited to Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills
• Knowledge of an agile framework or method (i.e. ScrumBan, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe), or understanding of software development life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices
• Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques
• Planning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams
• MUST be eligible to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)

• Experience with ScrumBan agile framework
• Proficiency using GitLab
• Eligible to obtain security clearance
