As a Project Manager - Consumer Products/Trade Promotion Management (TPM) at Clarkston you will:
- Be accountable for the successful delivery of all TPM project phases, releases, and project components
- Be responsible for overall quality, engagement, and adherence to the schedule and budget for the project
- Coordinate a project timeline with teams to ensure checkpoints and goals are met to the client’s satisfaction
- Manage overall resource allocation and capacity planning for the project
- Report project level status, metrics, issues, and risks, manage overall completion, and sign-off on project deliverables
- Provide leadership and guidance to other analysts and client personnel assigned to the projects
- Assist with scoping prospective engagements and developing proposals
- Conduct knowledge sharing and serve as a go-to subject matter expert for other company functional staff in support of client project deliverables
- Be available to answer questions that may arise from past or current clients
- Develop new Clarkston Consulting service capabilities and enhance existing company service capabilities; activities may include developing methodologies or tools to support current and prospective clients
- May also develop training materials, conduct knowledge sharing sessions, and contribute to Clarkston’s marketing and/or thought leadership activities

What We’re Looking For:
- Deep understanding of the consumer products industry, including key business drivers, competitive landscape, and market trends
- Strong understanding of and experience with the Trade Promotion Management lifecycle including Annual Planning, Budgeting, Customer Planning, Retail Execution, Settlements, Measuring & Reporting, and Category Management
- Experience with one or more trade systems (e.g. Exceedra, Demantra, AFS, CAS etc.)
- Capable of building strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization
- Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong client services orientation and accustomed to taking an active role in executing engagements and project plans/tasks
- Excellent team building, mentoring, and leadership abilities
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to present and write at publication quality level to communicate findings and recommendations
- Ability to manage projects from planning through delivery while staying on schedule and within budget
- Possess capacity to understand clients’ business processes and create solutions addressing the current and future needs of the organization
- 4-year degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent discipline
Travel Requirement
Travel is an integral part of this role and is estimated to average 30-50%. This may vary based upon client and project needs. When not traveling, consultants work from their home office. Relocation is not required.
