Clean Room Technician II (LAX186/2574)

About the role:
NTS, the leading provider of testing and engineering services, has a position open for a Mechanical Technician with a high mechanical aptitude to work in the role of Precision Cleaning Technician, to perform cleaning and testing on a variety of products for multiple industries. We strive to maintain excellent customer service and quick turnaround of our customers’ needs. This is an entry level position. You must have strong mechanical aptitude to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Perform cleaning set ups and follow product cleaning procedures
• Pre-clean parts using established processes and techniques using various aqueous detergents and solvents
• Final clean parts and qc verify using laboratory techniques
• Maintain process documentation log sheets and record data during tests and inspections
• Perform part packaging to maintain cleanliness levels and protect customer’s parts
• Provide feedback to PC team about order deviations
• Contribute to process optimization by critical thinking and problem solving
• Organize facility
• Perform other duties as required

Required Education/Skills/Experience:

• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship (present and future) and able to pass a drug test and DMV and background check
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Must have a strong mechanical aptitude with demonstrated skills (i.e., automotive mechanic, welding, plumbing/heating, etc.)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding industry compliance standards
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Good people skills and be a strong team player willing to adapt as necessary
• Ability to tolerate stress and work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to share skills and knowledge with others and to delegate responsibility
• Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision
• Positive “Can Do” Attitude while displaying the initiative and ability to problem solve
• Computer skills a major plus with many opportunities to modernize process flow
