Research Technician - Telephone Interviewer
Wayne State University is searching for an experienced Research Technician - Telephone Interviewer at its Detroit campus location.

Essential functions (job duties):
Establish contact with potential respondents and conduct interviews via telephone and computer.
Data entry and organization of responses.
Other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
Experience conducting telephone interviews, preferably with residential households.
Equipment requirement - you must have high-speed Internet access, your own phone, and a computer with Windows 10.
Good computer skills; able to use a Windows-based system.
Excellent verbal communication skills and enunciation; phone personality; excellent phone etiquette required.
Ability to follow all standard operating and project-related procedures. Ability to pay attention to detail.
Must be able to focus on relevant tasks (consistent calling, accurately assign codes to call records, etc.).
Bilingual Arabic and Spanish speakers are welcome, but must be proficient in English.
Must be available to work minimum hour requirements, with evenings and weekends as needed.

Flexible part-time hours: For non-WSU students, work a minimum of 20 hours per week with a possibility of up to 40 hours per week; 15 hours minimum for WSU students. Evening and weekend shifts are available (one Saturday or Sunday shift is required).
