Who We're Looking For - Senior Product DesignerAre you passionate about crafting seamless and intuitive user experiences? Then this is your next opportunity.We're looking for a Digital Senior Product Designer with 4-8 years of expertise in developing and maintaining design systems, creating detailed specifications for developers, creating responsive and accessible interfaces, designing state transitions to enhance usability, building interactive prototypes that demonstrate user flows and micro-interactions and iterating designs based on user insights.This role is ideally suited for someone with a strong understanding of UX/UI principles, who knows how to apply that knowledge to product and web design, and who is proficient in tools like Figma and Sketch.This role is integral in developing design strategies to meet user and business goals, deliver world-class user experiences, and drive meaningful results. The Senior Product Designer will work closely with product owners, product managers, UX analysts, graphic designers, SEO specialists, and other stakeholders to ideate new product features and optimize site functionality and content.You should come in on your first day ready to take initiative, learn fast, clear up ambiguity, and navigate change. All this to say: at Clearlink, we’re ready for anything and everything.APPLICANTS MUST INCLUDE PORTFOLIO TO BE CONSIDERED.The Impact You Will Make• Demonstrate mastery of visual hierarchy, typography, color theory, UI consistency, whitespace, responsive design, grid systems, iconography, feedback, micro-interactions, navigation design, loading states, error handling, and UI patterns.• Create and manage comprehensive site guide documentation ensuring product scalability and flexibility.• Collaborate with developers for ideal design solutions, document specifications, ensure seamless handoff, and align implemented UI with visual design.• Design and optimize site tools like search and interactive forms, incorporating filters, sorting options, and other functionalities.• Create feedback mechanisms (success messages, error messages, notifications) to inform users of interaction outcomes.• Create subtle animations and micro-interactions to guide users and improve usability.• Implement inclusive design principles for accessibility, adhering to WCAG standards.• Demonstrate knowledge of UX principles (usability, consistency, feedback, learnability), user behaviors, information scent, affordances, and signifiers.• Generate low-fidelity wireframes outlining structure and layout, focusing on content placement and information hierarchy.• Design screen and page layouts for clear and intuitive information flow.• Create responsive interfaces for various devices, ensuring optimal user experience on desktops, tablets, and mobiles.• Ideate brand-aligned icons and integrate imagery with Visual Designers to enhance user experience.• Define transitions and animations to enhance user experience without distraction.• Create high-fidelity prototypes to simulate user experience and test design functionality.• Lead brainstorming sessions for creative digital product concepts.• Develop and iterate design concepts based on requirements and user insights, using data analytics and testing to enhance UX.• Collaborate on user and task flows with Product Managers and UX Researchers for cohesive user progression.• Create design variations for A/B and usability testing, evaluate effectiveness, and gather real-time user insights.What You Bring• Bachelor’s degree in UX/UI Design, Web Design, or similar discipline from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience• 4-8 years of related experience in a Product Design or UX/UI Design role• 3-5 years of experience working in modular design systems• Expert in using product design tools: Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD• Proficient in using graphic design tools: Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.• Extensive knowledge of design system libraries, components, instances, and variables• General knowledge of CSS and engineering principles• Ability to wireframe and prototype user flows and interactions• Confident designing in an iterative, agile workflow using data and testing insights• Efficient and clear file organization and handoff of specifications documentation• Ability to translate brand identity and values to UI design for a cohesive brand experience• Ability to clearly communicate abstract ideas and concepts• Facilitate cross-functional ideation and workshop sessions• Confident in communicating Product Design best practices and recommendations• Comfortable with giving and receiving feedback• Excellent mentor for more junior designers, providing feedback that improves quality• Strong portfolio showcasing experience across the total scope of Product DesignPerks That Set Us Apart• Healthcare: We offer low-cost, competitive health coverage (domestic partners included!) with employer-paid counseling services.• 💰Invest in the Future: Enjoy 401(k) matching after just two months of employment, with employer matching starting at ~3%.• 🧘‍♀️Lifestyle Spending Stipends: Access an employer-paid spending account for physical, financial, and emotional wellbeing expenses.• 🏝️Flexible Time Off: We offer competitive time-off balances that accrue weekly, just like your paycheck.
