Manager, Credit & Energy Risk

Clearway Energy Group is looking for a detail-oriented Manager of Credit and Energy Risk to play a vital role in risk management of energy marketing activities across renewable and conventional generation assets. The ideal candidate will have strong credit risk experience in energy trading environments and be able to maintain a risk-oriented mentality amidst dynamic market structures.

Solid credit analytical skills
Thorough understanding of exposure calculations and trading instruments
Strong communication skills
Experience negotiating energy-related agreements

Responsibilities

Assess creditworthiness of counterparties and establish credit lines
Collaborate with various teams to convey prudent risk management practices
Create dashboards to present positions and exposures
Oversee management of Project Limits and report credit exposures to senior management
Review forward market prices and prepare risk issues for the Energy Risk Committee
Coordinate ETRM vendor review and ensure accurate recording of counterparty information
