Backend Engineer, Core Services

ClickUp is looking for a driven software engineer to join our Core Services team. The candidate will design and deliver scalable distributed shared services.

Skills

Strong understanding of API standards and integration patterns
Proficient with TypeScript
Experience with distributed systems design patterns

Responsibilities

Build and integrate customer feedback into API tooling and services
Create new architectural foundations for distributed systems
Collaborate within an agile scrum-based engineering team
Advocate and maintain API governance through collaboration and automation
Own integration within API Gateway layer and API lifecycles

Education

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
