Title: Client Relationship Director - Twin Cities Overview:
Team Daugherty is searching for strong leaders with executive-level information technology consulting skills in the Minneapolis/St. Paul region to envision and craft solutions to drive client success. As the Client Relationship Director, you will be working with new and current clients to solidify a foundation of dynamic growth. You will work closely with Sales Executives, Delivery Leadership and teammates to create and execute a strategic account plan for your client.

Our Client Relationship Directors will help expand our footprint with our existing Fortune 500 clients. A successful Client Relationship Director will be able to build executive relationships, communicate Daugherty’s capabilities to clients, drive thought leadership, and make value-driven solutions and recommendations that solve our clients’ problems while increasing Daugherty’s growth initiatives.

Daugherty will work with our employees to support preferred work locations, whether from home / remote, hybrid, in-office, or some other combination that still works with our clients’ expectations.
This role requires residency in the Minneapolis/St. Paul Twin Cities region.
Responsibilities:
As a Client Relationship Director you will be responsible for the following for one or more client teams:
  • Fully understand Daugherty capabilities and how they apply to solving our clients’ business problems.
  • Creating and executing Daugherty’s team-based strategic account growth strategies.
  • Align client landscape and business needs with Daugherty capabilities and solution offerings. Be able to tell the story of "how we've done this before" and can add value and solve the business problem.
  • Growing and managing client engagement revenue.
  • Being a high value, trusted advisor to your client.
  • Conceiving innovative, high value solutions for clients in areas of technology or process improvement.
  • Complete lead generation pursuits, sales pipeline management, and execute existing customer engagement strategies, while working in a teaming environment.
  • Maintain accurate client sales plans.
  • Drive go-to-market strategies including brand awareness with client executives.
  • Demonstrate capabilities to sell and build trusted client relationships from mid-management through executive level leadership.
  • Continuously grow revenue with your sales efforts.
  • Be responsive, highly accountable and solution focused when dealing with clients.
Qualifications:
  • A strong candidate will possess the following soft skills:

    • Possess a positive problem solving, thought leadership-oriented mentality. Be solutions focused, not a staffing mentality.

    • Smart, professional, and collaborative with a track record of success.
    • Organized and methodical; strong prioritization and negotiation skills.
    • Self-driven; operates with a propensity for thoughtful action and high output.
    • Possess a high level of business acumen and executive level communication skills.
    • Work well with technical experts to achieve business results.
    • Exhibit the willingness to coach and be coachable.
    • Meets new challenges with curiosity, passion, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
    • A bachelor’s degree in business, MIS, engineering or finance. MBA or MIS degree preferred
    • 10+ years of experience in leadership positions focused on achieving business results with technology.
    • 5+ years of professional consulting experience.
    • Management consulting or program/portfolio management expertise.
    • The ability to identify and apply industry trends to client solutions.
    • Experience leading the consultative development of tailored solutions.
    • The ability to leverage thought leadership, and to craft solutions based upon an understanding of the client situation.
    • Have a thorough understanding of capabilities, and how they can bring value to our clients, marketplace, and sales interactions.
    • Possess an understanding of technology solutions across a broad array of capabilities, including but not limited to:
      • Software Archtecture & Engineering
      • Data & Analytics
      • Agile Product Development, Delivery and Leadership
      • Management Consulting / Strategic Consulting Services
    • Experience working with fortune 500 level clients.
      Compensation Range
      Negotiable based on experience.
