Clinical Application Specialist

Green Key resources is representing a Medical Device Company who is looking to add multiple Clinical Application Specialists, Neuro EEG/PSG to their team! Candidates must be located Mid to West Coast.

The Clinical Application Specialist, Neuro is responsible for providing professional Clinical Applications Training and customer support. Interfacing with but not limited to Sales, Clinical Specialist, Marketing, Service, Support, IT, Project Managers, and Implementation Coordinators to effectively implement Systems into customer sites. This may include pre- and post-sales support. Managing time wisely and efficiently and to accomplish assignments in established timeframes. The Clinical Application Specialist presents a professional image with above-average customer service skills.

Essential Functions and Main Duties

  • Customer pre-on-site preparations
  • On-site responsibilities such as, vendor credentialing kiosk, training, service report documentation, and ensuring customers are comfortable with the system
  • Assembling of our medical devices
  • Conducting follow up calls
  • Assigned and support VIP accounts
  • Maintaining Educational Competency
  • Using remote desktop software is required to train and troubleshoot applications
  • Must complete all company training documents
  • Remain clinically knowledgeable and competent for maintaining licensure
  • Complete ongoing application training and competency testing
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.
  • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time based on business need.

Qualifications

Education / Certification / Experience Required

  • Associate degree in science or related discipline; relevant education and experience accepted in lieu of degree
  • Must be professionally credentialed and registered in EEG and PSG and highly desirable to be registered in one or more of the following: EP, CNIM, CLTM, CAP, NCV
  • 3+ years of experience in EEG, PSG and one or more other modalities; EP, CNIM, CLTM, CAP, or NCV
  • Must be able to perform Electroencephalography EEG and one or more of the following: Evoked Potentials, Nerve Conductions, IOM, Polysomnography
  • Epilepsy monitoring experience preferred

Competencies Required

  • Able to read, analyze and interpret equipment manuals, general business periodicals or professional journals
  • Able to write reports and business correspondence; the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to customers and other employees of the organization
  • Able to effectively use technology to present information to customers
  • Working knowledge of Windows PC's and proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Able to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment

Working Conditions

Schedule: The regular hours for this full-time position are dependent on the customers schedule and the scope of the project. Provide after-hour support calls on a 6-week rotation. The work week is Monday – Friday, unless otherwise stated by the department manager. Holiday, weekend, and evening work hours may be required.

Physical: Requires some reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, crawling, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying up to 25 pounds, finger dexterity, repetitive motions, standing, walking, sitting, hearing, visual acuity, color vision, and 2-way written/verbal communication in English. More specific details may be provided as needed or requested.

Travel: Approximately 90%

Access to Customer Sites: It is an essential function of this position to perform duties in healthcare facilities, and to achieve the necessary vendor credentialing. As part of this process, it is typically required to provide proof of vaccinations (including for COVID-19), and related personal medical information, and to comply with other criteria as needed to be able to work at customer sites. Typical vendor credentialing expenses will be paid/reimbursed by the Company
