Clinical Pharmacist - Utilization Management Experience required

National Healthcare company is hiring Clinical Pharmacist for Utilization Management Reviews!

100% Remote

The successful candidates will complete utilization management reviews for medications. These reviews will include prior authorization, quantity limit, and formulary/step therapy reviews.

• Perform pharmacy and medical benefit coverage determination and utilization management reviews for Commercial Coverage Review Department as primary clinical decision maker.
• Apply critical thinking to achieve proper clinical decisions when performing clinical reviews
• Utilize multiple systems and other clinical resources to achieve proper decisions in utilization management reviews
• Work and maneuver within queue systems that prioritize clinical reviews
• Be able to make a clinical decision quickly and decide and act with or without all information
• Work and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary clinical team to provide a customer centric experience

Requirements:

• Currently Licensed Registered Pharmacist in state of residency
• 5+ years of experience as a Clinical Pharmacist
• Utilization Management Experience
• Experience with Specialty Pharmacy / Pharmaceuticals

• Degree in Pharmacy from an Accredited School of Pharmacy

CONTRACT TO START until 09/30/2023

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $52.00 - $54.00 per hour
