Manager of Executive Marketing & Programming

The Role

Cedar is hiring a Manager of Executive Marketing & Programming to drive Cedar’s marketing programs and initiatives geared toward payer and provider executives, and lead the organization’s content development and programming efforts at events tailored to the executive audience. This role will work in partnership with leaders across the organization to conceptualize and execute marketing campaigns and initiatives that engage a senior audience and drive pipeline, deal acceleration and increase retention. This role will lead content development for Cedar events and experiential campaigns, and work closely with the product and marketing teams to craft post-event deliverables including blog posts, white papers, and external communications.

This role will be highly external-facing, serving as the primary point of contact for Cedar’s executive communities including our Advisor Board and CEO Council, and requires an individual with strong communication skills and customer service orientation, executive presence, high EQ, and grace under pressure.

This is a fast paced and collaborative role that requires someone with a natural ability to develop innovative and relevant content, secure best-in-class speakers, and provide strong project management. It will be important to create open lines of communication internally and externally, and drive progress on concurrent key initiatives, event activations, cross-functional projects. This role requires a highly resourceful individual who thrives in a fast-moving, complex environment requiring strong organization, self-motivation, and comfort with ambiguity in a fast-changing industry.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver, evolve, and grow marketing campaigns, events and initiatives designed to engage and deepen relationships C-Suite and senior executives.
  • Drive pipeline progression by active leadership and management of Cedar’s C-Suite marketing efforts. You will be the creative force behind many of our highest-profile C-Suite marketing efforts, and will regularly interact with senior leadership within the organization and our customers.
  • Lead programming and content development for events and conferences aim at C-Suite audiences. Partner with Product, Design, and Marketing to draft thought leadership (blog posts, white papers, etc) geared toward executive audiences.
  • Partner with key Marketing, Sales, and Client Growth leaders to develop and lead VIP events and campaigns. Responsible for recruiting external speakers, developing content plans, managing customer outreach, crafting engaging experiences, and on-site event logistics.
  • Own relationship management and communications with Advisor Board members and their support staff to help further strategic business goals, deepen and expand relationships, and foster a culture of learning and innovation.
  • Manage Advisor Board meeting logistics and execution, ensuring unique, memorable and impactful experiences for our community members
  • Moderate, engage and listen regularly within community forums, triaging discussion internally as well as promoting and securing leadership engagement
  • Meet regularly with internal stakeholders to share executive insights, updates and guidance on ways to engage with the community

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5-7+ years of related community management or board affairs experience building, managing and scaling communities
  • Excellent project management and communications skills - both written and verbal.
  • High levels of emotional intelligence and empathy, understanding how to listen and respond to community feedback
  • Comfort and experience dealing directly with high-level healthcare executives and other VIPs
  • Demonstrated affinity for diplomacy and the ability to cultivate and maintain relationships at all levels
  • Strong analytical skills and ability; outstanding project management, execution, and business acumen
  • Passion about Cedar’s mission, vision and values
  • A sense of humor (...seriously)

Compensation Range and Benefits

  • Salary/Hourly Rate Range*: $123,000 - $145,000
  • This role is equity eligible
  • This role offers a competitive benefits and wellness package
