Qualitest is looking for an Cloud Architect to join our growing team.

The Cloud Architect will be responsible for application regression assessment, selecting the automation/cloud candidates for automation [Regression and End-to-end], setting up the framework, building the integration to JIRA/Zephyr and ADO, and building the automation scripts and delivering them as needed.

• Identifying and recommending the right automated testing processes and tools
• Define and publish key performance metrics for the automated testing
• Provide leadership, guidance, training and mentoring to implement test automation across project teams within region.
• Define and implement test automation strategy including roadmap, tools, framework & approach across project teams
• Oversee technological execution of the recommended automation solution roadmap across project teams
• Participate in Design and Architectural reviews of proposed automation solutions across project teams
• Evaluate and select best usage of test automation tools for different purposes
• Technical presentation of proposed automation solutions
• Contribute to Center of Excellent Initiatives across enterprise and regions

Requirements

• Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices
• Proven experience in designing and implementing testing strategies for cloud-based applications and services.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Understand the 6R's of cloud Migration.
• Has experience with Microservices architectures.
• Understands event driven implementation Kafka/RabbitMQ
• Proficient in scripting languages, such as Python or JavaScript or Java.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex systems and identify potential issues.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, ISTQB, or similar, are a plus.

• A Competitive pay, the salary range for the role is $170,000 - $190,000.
