Senior Lighting Technical Artist

Cloud Chamber is looking for a Senior Technical Lighting Artist to enhance the lighting team for the production of BioShock, focusing on developing standards and automating workflows.

Skills

  • Deep understanding of lighting and color theory
  • Experience with FPS engines
  • Knowledge of Lumen and Blueprint
  • Skilled with industry-standard game development tools

Responsibilities

  • Create lighting standards and workflows using Unreal Engine
  • Evaluate and optimize game lighting performance
  • Develop Blueprints or scripts for lighting automation
  • Collaborate with Cinematic, VFX, and Material teams
  • Implement dynamic lighting and atmospheric systems
  • Research and share new techniques in PBR lighting and shading

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
