Deciphex is now hiring a Cloud Engineer to join our fantastic team during this period of rapid growth. The candidate must be located in Ireland, UK or Romania - Remote

About this Role (Responsibilities):

• Maintain currently deployed Cloud applications
• POC new application capabilities by leveraging cloud services (SSO, CaaS, SecretManager)
• Liaise with a Security Engineer to re-configure / patch existing Cloud applications / service
• Build, Test and Execute migration plan for services (and data) between regions / clouds.
• Provide support to set-up managed environments / services for POC.
• Design and Implement fail-over and backup strategies.
• Use IaC best practices to capture, version control and manage changes.
• Complete all mandatory company training and job specific training required for the role, including ISMS, GLP, DocuSign, SDLC as applicable

About You (Skills and Experience):

• Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent

• Experience with Terraform
• Experience in managing a Public Cloud Environment
• Experience with setup and build automation pipelines (CI/CD)
• Good Knowledge in programming in JavaGood Knowledge and best practices to secure cloud services.
• Experience with multi-region, multi-cloud deployments
• Experience with different failover strategies

• Good attention to detail
• Methodical
• Good communication skills (written and verbal)
• Self-motivated and driven
• Experience with GLP regulations or software will be ‘a distinct advantage.’
• You will have shown leadership skills in previous positions and are keen to develop these skills further.
• You bring a sense of urgency to the work that you do and are able to execute on tasks by using your initiative.
• You enjoy innovating and bringing new ideas to the table.
• You like to have autonomy in your role and the independence to manage your own time and workload.
• You are highly collaborative and enjoy working with lots of different teams and people.
• You have great written and oral English language skills.
