We're looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer to join our growing team.
About this Role (Responsibilities):
- Identify automation opportunities to improve test automation of the product
- Support manual and automated testing as required
- Interact with stakeholders to define and review test automation objectives
- Collaborate with other teams to improve existing test automation frameworks and tools
- Coordinate between onshore & offshore teams
- Complete all mandatory company-wide compliance training and job-specific training required for the role, including QMS, ISMS, GxP, DocuSign, SDLC as applicable
About You (Skills and Experience):
- A Bachelor's or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems or another related field is essential
- 5+ years of work experience in a similar test automation role is essential
- Experience with Java programming language
- Experience with windows applications, web services and RESTful APIs
- Experience with SQL / NoSQL databases
- Experience working with Quality Management Systems e.g. ISO27001 or QMS
- Experience in agile development e.g. Kanban, SCRUM
- Strong design thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and ability to work with a range of stakeholders inside and outside of the business
- Experience working with multinational companies and teams
- Enthusiastic teamwork and process innovation-driven
- You will have shown leadership skills in previous positions and are keen to develop these skills further.
- You bring a sense of urgency to the work that you do and are able to execute on tasks by using your initiative.
- You enjoy innovating and bringing new ideas to the table.
- You like to have autonomy in your role and the independence to manage your own time and workload.
- You are highly collaborative and enjoy working with lots of different teams and people.
- You have great written and oral English language skills.
Additional Experience in the following would be Advantageous
- Experience with other programming languages
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience with AWS Cloud, MongoDB Atlas
- Experience with DirectX Graphics
- Experience with Scanner WSI Formats and LIMS
- Previous experience working in a regulated environment
- Experience with SaaS, IaaS, PaaS and hybrid cloud solutions
- Experience with CI/CD solutions, automation frameworks and build tools
