The Cloud Media Solutions organization builds technologies and innovations that easily integrate into service providers’ infrastructure to make content experiences more effective, meaningful, and engaging for consumers.
Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities include the analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, maintenance and support of these complex business systems
Interns will contribute meaningfully to a team that builds technology products
Collaborate with technology experts
Learn new technologies & languages relevant to the team
Develop skills coding, testing, and evaluating technical tradeoffs
Contribute to our suite of automated tests and testing infrastructure
Participate in standup meetings, sprints, and take on projects related to the team's goal
Attend intern professional, personal, and social development events
Qualification
In pursuit of Bachelors, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience with coding in Java, JavaScript, Python, Go, or another relevant programming language
Basic operating system knowledge including Windows, macOS, or Linux.
Scripting languages such as PowerShell, Unix Shell scripts, Groovy, etc.
Understanding of algorithms and data structures and how to efficiently implement them into a solution
Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
Understanding of Source Control such as Git, Gitlab, Bitbucket, etc.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Utilizes critical thinking and analytical skills on a regular basis to complete tasks
Nice to haves
Experience using mobile, web UI, or API test automation frameworks (Appium, Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, and other automation tools) to write end to end scenario based automated tests.
Experience with virtualization or container technology, such as ESXi, Xen, Docker, etc
Experience with development infrastructure tools such as Jenkins, Git, Gerrit, and JIRA and with Database solutions (e.g, InfluxDB, PostgreSQL, etc)

Working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a related field; recent grads who are within 6 months of graduation are also eligible to apply. Must be available to work full-time Monday – Friday for 3 months between September 2023 – December 2023

The San Francisco/Bay Area base hourly range for this internship position is $45-50/hr and can vary if outside of this location. Our hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific hourly range and perks and benefits for your location during the hiring process.
