Exabeam Inc is looking for a highly motivated Cloud Optimization Architect responsible for leading the cost reporting and optimization framework. You will work with cloud architects and engineers across global engineering teams to help them identify cost optimization opportunities and build a cost awareness culture embedded at an IC level.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with architects and engineers to advise on architecture and resource optimization, waste management, capacity management, KPI development and maintenance, tagging, alerts enhancements, and ensuring cost improvements are working
- Work with cloud vendors and engineering teams to drive cost-optimization efforts
Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant engineering or cloud finance-related experience.
- 3+ years of experience with at least one public Cloud Provider: AWS, GCP, or Azure, including making recommendations related to reserved & spot instances, utilization optimization, enterprise discounts, and cloud contract terms
- In-depth expertise in cloud services architecture and cost mechanics related to container orchestration, serverless compute, storage, networking, data warehousing, etc.
- Be detail oriented and excited about turning data into insights
Nice to Have:
- Experience with cost optimization for multi-cloud vendor platforms
- Familiarity with cloud cost management tools such as CloudHealth, GCP Billing, Harness or Cloudability
Base Pay Range:
$112,000 - $208,000
- Range is reflective of base pay only
- Does not include variable pay
- Base pay is dependent on experience and may vary based on geography
